Maryland Wear & Carry – Initial (16 Hours)

The required 16-hour firearms training course for first-time Maryland Wear & Carry Permit applicants. Training covers firearm safety and handling, Maryland firearm and carry laws, self-defense and use-of-force principles, safe storage, handgun operation, and required live-fire qualification. Students must successfully complete the course and achieve at least 70% accuracy on the Maryland State Police qualification. If you do not have a MD HQL, this course also meets MD HQL training requirements.

Prerequisites: At least the age of 20. Handgun and 50 rounds of ammunition for live-fire qualification.Note: Course includes training only. Any required fingerprinting, photos, and applications are the responsibility of the student.

Maryland Wear & Carry – Renewal (8 Hours)

The required 8-hour firearms training course for current Maryland Wear & Carry Permit holders seeking renewal. Training reviews Maryland firearm and carry laws, self-defense and use-of-force principles, firearm safety and handling, safe storage, and handgun operation. Students must also complete the required live-fire qualification with at least 70% accuracy.

Prerequisites: Existing MD Wear & Carry Permit. Handgun and 50 rounds of ammunition for live-fire qualification.Note: Course includes training only. Any required fingerprinting, photos, and applications are the responsibility of the student.

Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL) (4 Hours)

Required training for individuals applying for a Maryland Handgun Qualification License. Topics include firearm safety, handgun operation and handling, Maryland firearm laws, safe storage, and basic handgun fundamentals. The course also includes the required live-fire component.

Prerequisites: At least the age of 20. Handgun and 50 rounds of ammunition for live-fire qualification. A handgun and ammunition may be made available for a fee and waiver.Note: Course includes training only. Any required fingerprinting, photos, and applications are the responsibility of the student.

Utah Concealed Firearm Permit (4 Hours)

Knowledge-based instruction for individuals seeking a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit. Course topics include firearm safety, safe handling and storage, concealed carry considerations, Utah firearm laws, lawful self-defense, and use-of-force principles. No live-fire qualification is required.

Prerequisites: At least the age of 20.Note: Course includes training only. Any required fingerprinting, photos, and applications are the responsibility of the student.

Florida Concealed Weapon License

Firearms safety and competency training for individuals seeking a Florida Concealed Weapon License. This course satisfies the firearms competency training requirements of Florida Statutes § 790.06(2)(h), including required live-fire demonstration. Topics include safe firearm handling and storage, handgun operation, concealed carry considerations, lawful self-defense, use-of-force principles, and practical firearms proficiency.
